TOHO GAKUEN Film Techniques Training College
東放学園映画専門学校
Hiroshi studies VFX, wich is the process by which imagery is created or manipulated outside the context of a live-action shot in filmmaking and video production.
Visual effects (VFX) are any special effects added to a film using a computer. VFX typically combines live-action footage and manipulated or enhanced imagery to create realistic environments and characters. The main goal of VFX is to take something fake and make it look real, or at least believable.
Its greatest references
Hiroshi’s older brother works as a mechanic and repairs the pizza delivery motorcycles. He has a deep love and appreciation for all things motorsports and he is one of Hiroshi’s biggest influences.
The enthusiasm, passion and taste for aesthetics and sensations that competition vehicles give are a large part of Hiroshi’s personality and taste, due to the influence of his brother.
His brother, in turn, was taught by their grandfather, who sadly passed away when Hiroshi was still little, but his motorcycles are still in the workshop and he is a legend for the family for his passion for motorcycling.

Hiroshi’s parents’ business is a pizzeria that they have under their house, which has a restaurant and delivery, in which hiroshi helps when necessary on weekends.
The Deal
Hiroshi’s parents’ business is a pizzeria that they have under their house, which has a restaurant and delivery, in which hiroshi helps when necessary on weekends.
His parents have offered him a deal:
They will help him financially to buy a motorcycle with his savings achieved by working with them making deliveries.
But the motorcycle that he will choose has to be somehow useful in their business and must fit in his residence.
When he finishes his studies, he will be able to keep it permanently as his property and use it however he wants.

What makes Hiroshi himself?
Hiroshi's room is a very important place for him. His walls are covered with posters of his favorite things, such as the sports competitions he usually watches with his brother or magazine pages with dream vehicles.
What makes Hiroshi himself?
He enjoys the fantasy and realism of video games (especially racing ones or related to their passion for motor sports) or science fiction anime series and movies.
Hiroshi's social life
Hiroshi enjoys sharing time with is friends living in an urban life, filled with technology.
Spending time with his friends, especially when they share hobbies like playing basketball or talking about their interests, is a valuable source of support and community for Hiroshi, helping him thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic city of Tokyo.
Contrary to him, most of Hiroshi's friends have some kind of urban mobility transport that makes it easy for them to quickly reach distant places, such as the basketball court where they usually practice the sport.
Battery charging space
Hiroshi's family already has the necessary infrastructure to charge the batteries of an electric vehicle if necessary, since they have a Nissan Leaf
6:00 AM: Wake up, shower, and get dressed (Hiroshi is not a big fan of waking up early, but he has to in order to arrive on time)
7:00 AM: Have breakfast and check email/notifications (During the breakfast he often talk with his brother and check for notifications in his phone )
8:00 AM: Commute to (about 30-40 minutes by train) ( During the journey the train is full of people due to being rush time at Tokyo and it becomes a bit uncomfortable. Hiroshi would love to have some time to be alone with his thoughts and a bit more freedom to move freely.)
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Attend classes and workshops in special effects for film (FBX) ( Finally, Hiroshi gets off the train and goes straight to his class. There he meets his companions.)
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break (At the lunch break, Hiroshi meets his classmates and eats and speaks with them in the cafeteria inside the School.)
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Continue attending classes and workshops in special effects for film (FBX) (Hiroshi continues his student day, however as the hours go by he generally finds himself a bit more tired and usually a bit bored because of being there all day and the lack of stimuli, so he waits to go home.)
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Commute back home to Itabashi. (Hiroshi says goodbye to his companions and goes to take the train back to his home in Itabashi. The train is quieter than in the morning, but still with a lot of people.)
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Have dinner with family (Back home, Hiroshi helps with dinner and talks about his day with his brother and parents over dinner.)
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Work on homework and personal projects, or pursue hobbies such as playing basketball with friends (depending on the amount of work you have, either you go out to have fun with your friends, or you work on school projects)
9:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Relax, watch TV or play video games, wind down for bed (Once the day is over, Hiroshi returns to his room where he relaxes and rests before going to sleep either playing video games, watching TV or on the internet.)
10:00 PM: Go to bed
Rush Hour
Hiroshi takes the subway regularly to go to class, however when using it during rush hours it is always very crowded. Inside the subway he looks out the window and imagines himself outside on a motorcycle like his brother's, thinking how cool it would be to go alone freely to his university and park daily in the area reserved for it at his university.
Itabashi
The Hiroshi neighborhood is in Itabashi and it is quite quiet by Tokyo standards. There is a good presence of older people and an electric motorcycle could help not to disturb, even when delivering at night.
6:00 AM: Wake up, shower, and get dressed (Hiroshi is not a big fan of waking up early, but he has to in order to arrive on time)
8:30 AM: Wake up, shower, and get dressed (Being a weekend makes hiroshi wake up much more relaxed, even if he get up early)
9:30 AM: Have breakfast and check email/notifications (During breakfast, Hiroshi looks at the mobile notifications and usually organizes an activity together with his friends.)
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Spend time with friends, play basketball or engage in other hobbies (Hiroshi usually goes out with his friends to play basketball. The basketball court is a bit far away and it usually takes longer than his friends who already have their own means of transportation)
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break (hiroshi eats at home or with his family)
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Work on personal projects or catch up on homework. (Upon returning, Hiroshi begins working on his school projects.)
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Spend time with family, have dinner. (have dinner with the family before starting to deliver at home)
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Help with pizza delivery with parents, along with occasional breaks to spend time with friends if his parents doesnt require his help (Hiroshi goes down to the pizzeria, puts on his uniform, takes the delivery pizzas and loads them on the motorcycle. He starts the motorcycle and goes out to distribute looking at the directions on his mobile. He usually returns to the pizzeria for new orders. At the end of his day)
10:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Relax, watch TV or play video games, wind down for bed (Hiroshi returns home where he relaxes)
11:00 PM: Go to bed

Name
Honda MVP
Since the 1956-57 NBA season, the MVP trophy recipient has been awarded to the player who is most valuable to their team.
it is the abbreviation for most valuable player: an award given to a sports player who is judged most important to the sport, team, or game.
Since the project focuses on providing a mobility solution that adapts to Hiroshi's needs and tastes, the name makes a direct reference to Hiroshi's hobby, however it is also a nod to the project itself, since in the case of Honda it would be the abbreviation of:
Movility
Vehicle
Problem
Optimal shape
Before starting to design, it is necessary to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each means of transportation. In this way, it is maximized how easy, fun and maneuverable it is to handle, its cargo space and how easy it is to enter houses, apartments or residences.

In the design of the motorcycle there is inspiration from the basketball court itself.
Integrated camera
Since he studies video editing and because of how innovative it is, I consider it interesting that it had a semi-integrated front camera, which functions as a dash-cam
Dashboard + Extra Space
The function of the motorcycle is to be able to deliver, offering dynamic driving but without being very expensive.
For this function, the speed and range information is managed directly from the user's cell phone and since it does not have a gas tank, that space is used to store what is necessary for the delivery, such as paper and pen.
